If the customer has definite requirements for the carton compressive value and the carton printing processing technology, the side pressure strength of the carton can be deduced from the compressive strength calculation formula, and then the original paper configuration satisfying the customer's pressure resistance requirements is inversely developed according to the formula of the marginal pressure strength calculation. If customers only provide information on carton weight, transportation, stacking and printing process, we can also calculate the carton's pressure resistance requirements. Then according to the calculation formula of compressive strength and the calculation formula of side pressure strength, the side pressure intensity value of the carton is reversed and the configuration of the paper is further confirmed by the flow chart of paper configuration for compressive strength. The compressive strength of the carton is determined by the total weight of the carton, the number of stacking layers, and the safety factor. Carton compressive strength design formula is as follows:

P=GX(n-1) XK
P indicates the carton pressure resistance G indicates the total weight of a single carton n indicates the number of stacking layers after the carton is installed K indicates the safety factor

For example:

The total weight of a carton is 15kg. Its stacking layer is defined as 9 layers. The safety factor is set to 5.5. What is the compressive value?

Solution, into the formula P = G x (n - 1) x K
= 15 X 8 X 5.5
=660kg
