Three cases of troubleshooting
1. The circumferential patterning motor does not work
The circumferential pattern-making motor of SM74 offset printing machine will often fail when it is not working in production, and it will be good and bad sometimes, and finally it will not work at all.

Trouble shooting, remove the circumferential pattern motor from the machine, open the plastic protective cover of the motor, and find that there is more oil in it. Unscrew the nut on the mounting hole of the carbon brush, and pull the carbon brush outward to feel a certain resistance. Through the carbon brush mounting hole, it was observed that toner accumulated in the commutator (commutator). Rinse the carbon powder on the surface of the commutator with gasoline, clean the carbon brush and the oil and carbon powder on the inner wall surface of the mounting hole, so that the carbon brush can move freely in the mounting hole. It works fine after reinstallation.

Reason analysis: The circumferential pattern-setting motor is installed in the protective cover on the transmission side, and the sprayed oil enters the motor along the wire. Once the carbon powder grinded by the carbon brush meets the oil entering the carbon brush installation hole, the carbon is increased. The friction between the brush and the inner wall of the mounting hole counteracts the force of the spring pressing the carbon brush against the surface of the commutator. As the carbon brushes wear out, the carbon brushes finally come out of contact with the commutator surface, and the motor cannot work. After cleaning, the carbon brush is fully in contact with the surface of the commutator under the action of the spring, and naturally returns to normal work.

2. Water bucket roller shaft head and transmission gear shaft wear
When the SM74 offset press leaves the factory, the fastening bolts connecting the water bucket roller and the transmission gear use galvanized bolts instead of the commonly used stainless steel bolts. The bolt is used in a humid environment for a long time, and the surface is completely corroded, which causes the water bucket roller shaft head and the transmission gear shaft to be not tightly connected. If it cannot be found in time, the water bucket roller and the measurement force comparison axis are not parallel, the water output is unstable, affecting printing quality.

Troubleshooting, the key to repairing the worn surface of the bucket head and transmission gear is to repair the axis of the surface of the part so that the coaxiality error with the axis of other working surfaces can be restored to the allowable range.

Appeal, clean and repair the worn surface. When processing the head of the bucket roller shaft, first rough a cylindrical tire with an outer diameter of 58mm and a length of 30mm, and process three M6 screw holes on the end surface, and the diameter of the three heads on the bucket roller shaft head is 6.6 The countersink of mm corresponds. Install the tire tool on the lathe chuck, finish the end face and inner hole, the processing size of the inner hole forms a transitional fit with the size of the unworn surface of the other end of the bucket roller shaft head. Put the end of the water bucket roller shaft head that is not worn into the inner hole, fasten it to the tire with bolts, and weld the surface to the required size.

When machining the transmission gear shaft, first turn an outer diameter of 30mm. A cylindrical tire with an inner diameter of 17.5 mm and a length of 50 mm is machined with 3 M4 screw holes evenly on the circumference 15 mm from one end. Install the tire on the chuck of the internal grinder and grind the inner hole so that the size of the inner hole and the size of the bearing installation position on the transmission gear shaft form a transitional fit. Install the transmission gear shaft into the inner hole of the tire, and evenly tighten the three M4 fastening bolts to prevent the transmission gear shaft from rotating relative to the tire during processing. Grind the inner hole of the transmission gear shaft to the required size, and then use the shaping wheel to repair the excess part of the welding repair of the opening part of the transmission gear shaft, so that the bucket roller shaft head can be smoothly disassembled from the opening part.

3. Damaged spring guide rod
On the rear row of the SM74 offset press, two spring devices are used to close the row of teeth. In this device, a spring guide rod is connected to the tooth row through a needle bearing and a small shaft with a diameter of 10 mm to transmit power. One corner of the spring guide rod has a chamfer of 6mm * 45 °, and there is an oil hole with a diameter of 3mm on the chamfer slope, which becomes the weak link of the spring guide rod. If the guide rod of the transmission side spring device is damaged from here, it needs to be replaced.

Replacement method: first remove the tooth opening ball on the row of teeth, clean the outermost dental pads on both sides; then install a magnetic table base, manually turn the car, and use a dial gauge to measure the height difference between the surface of the dental pads and the surface of the roller , And make a record; the relative position of the dental row assembly and the roller in the axial direction should also be marked; remove the 12 M8 bolts, remove the dental row assembly from the drum, disassemble the spring device, and replace it with spare parts.

When installing, first adjust the axial position of the dental row assembly and the roller according to the mark, and tighten the 12 M8 bolts slightly. Use a dial gauge to measure the difference in height between the surface of the dental pad and the surface of the roller, and compare the recorded value to adjust the height of the dental row assembly. Tighten 12 M8 bolts gradually and evenly, and then use a dial indicator to measure the height difference between the surface of the dental pad and the surface of the snowball tube. The numerical error before and after disassembly is required to be controlled within the allowable range, otherwise reinstall. Finally, install the open ball.
