Hong Kong develops plastic bottles and high-performance compressed recycling machines

In order to reduce environmental pollution, the HKSAR Environment and Conservation Fund has recently funded the Productivity Council to design a capsule compression and recycling machine that can reduce the volume of waste, making it more cost-effective to dispose of waste plastic bottles.
Lian Canming, manager of the Environmental Management Department of the Hong Kong Productivity Council, said that the majority of plastic waste discarded in Hong Kong is plastic bottles (plastic bottles), of which only 38% (about 214,000 tons) are recycled. The low recovery rate of plastic bottles is mainly due to the large size and irregular shape. Recyclers need higher transportation costs and larger storage space.
The new capsule compression and recycling machine designed with advanced compression technology can reduce the volume of plastic bottles by 80%. It has a large-capacity submission processing function, can handle 100 capsules per minute, and low noise, suitable for residential, commercial or industrial buildings, especially for the hotel or property management industry.
At an environmental protection exhibition held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center earlier this month, the Productivity Council will introduce the Department’s recycling machines and related technical materials, and conduct live demonstrations. (Indigo)
