At present, the use of disposable foaming utensils has become a symbol of a civilized quality of life. However, white pollution has become more and more serious due to reasons such as consumers' arbitrarily discarding, untimely recycling management, and the time required for the degradation of the product itself. Today, the 6th order of the State Economic and Trade Commission has been promulgated for nearly six months, but the prohibition of foaming tableware is not satisfactory. Experts pointed out that other countries in the world have experienced this kind of situation. The main reasons are as follows: First, most of the substitutes are high in price and poor in performance, and the market is not easy to accept; second, some substitutes cannot really solve the problems caused by foam plastic tableware. Pollution, substitutes still need to strengthen recovery management. Therefore, most countries in the world currently manage the recycling of disposable foam plastic products. As for whether the disposable foam plastic tableware is harmful to health, experts pointed out that disposable foam tableware containing foods under 90°C will not cause any harm to the human body. Experts also pointed out that the new alternatives only solve some of the degradation problems, but if the degradation rate is slower than the production and use of the product, recycling will not be timely, it will still cause new pollution. One-time foaming tableware has huge recycling benefits. Its recycling price is 2,000 yuan per ton, and it can be sold for 3,000 yuan per ton after reclaimed pellets, which is more than half the cost of new raw materials. It is very valuable for market use. The current recycling rate in Beijing has been More than 60%.
