Characteristics of water-based ink for corrugated paper printing
Water-based inks are roughly divided into two categories:
a Rosin-maleic acid modified resin series (low grade)
b acrylic resin series (high-end)
Two requirements for the performance of water-based ink
1 After long-term storage of the precipitate, it should be easily redispersed after stirring;
2 Must have good flow properties and viscosity;
3. Has good storage stability;
4. The drying performance should be fast and appropriate;
5. There must not be any adverse effects on the printing plates and printing presses;
6. There must not be too much pungent odor.
Three water-based ink technical parameters:
1 Color: Similar to the standard sample Note: Compare the test sample with the standard sample by using a manual color wheel to develop the color. 2 Fineness: less than 20 microns Instrument: 0-50 microns scraper fineness meter
3 Viscosity: 20 seconds ± 5 seconds Instrument: RIGOSHA4 # cup (25 ° C).
4 pH value: 8.0-9.
5. Apparatus: portable pH meter (PHB-2 type) .. Heavy metal content: in line with world packaging green environmental protection standards.
6 Endurance meets requirements
Requirements for the correct use of four water-based inks:
1 Before use, it must be fully stirred to keep the ink composition uniform;
2. After opening and using, the ink storage should be capped and closed immediately to prevent dust and dry skin;
3. If the residual ink contains impurities, it should be filtered first, and then used with new ink;
4 During storage, please avoid exposure to high temperature or hot sun.
5. If it is found that the viscosity of the applied ink is slightly larger, an appropriate amount of water can be added for adjustment.
