#1: The poster is here
The poster has been released, and it's absolutely stunning! Designed by Studio de Valence, this yellow masterpiece reminds everyone to mark their calendars — the 7th edition of Paris Design Week will take place from September 8 to 16. It’s shaping up to be one of the most exciting design events yet!
#2: Six themes to explore
This year, design will be celebrated in all its forms across 200 locations throughout Paris. There are six main themes to look forward to: fashion, art, DIY, craftsmanship, food, and interior design — with the #projects section being a highlight. And of course, **Maison&Objet 2017** will run alongside, and Covet House will be there to showcase its own designs.
#3: “now! Le Off†exhibition
Emerging talents won’t be left out — the “now! Le Off†exhibition is dedicated to young designers and new creators. This is a great opportunity to discover fresh voices in the design world. Plus, watchmaker Rado will be awarding prizes to the best emerging designers during the event.
#4: Nights will be lively
Out of the nine days of Paris Design Week, five will feature evening events in different districts. These nights promise even more excitement and are a perfect way to experience the energy of the city. The opening party will take place on September 9th at Les Docks Cité de la Mode et du Design.
#5: Talks and discussions
As always, there will be talks, debates, and conferences featuring some of the top names in the design industry. This year’s program includes four major talks, though the full list of speakers is still under wraps. It’s sure to be an inspiring lineup.
