Rotating drop method to study the rheological properties of interface expansion

Abstract: Using the rotating drop method, the expansion rheological properties of sodium 2-propyl-4,5-diheptanebenzenesulfonate (DHPBS) at the decane-water interface were studied, and SVT20N was introduced in more detail. The device and experimental method of the video rotating drop tensiometer investigated the influence of the test conditions such as the volume of the oil drop injection, the basic rotation speed and the oscillation amplitude on the expansion modulus. The research results show that the rotating drop method is a new method to study the rheological properties of expansion and has a good application prospect in the field involving low interfacial tension.
