ACH develops molded heat-resistant packaging material for expanded polyethylene

ACH Foam Technology has introduced DuraThermTM, an extremely durable transport container for transporting perishable foods, drugs and other products that require thermal protection. DuraTherm is an advanced shape molded expanded polystyrene (EPS), which is a shipping container and has superior absorption, shock, and isolation capabilities over other packaging alternatives such as corrugated or molded pulp packaging.

ACH Foam Technology also produces traditional molded EPS, assembled EPS, and soft filling for the packaging market. ACH's environmental packaging benefits

The resource efficiency of EPS? EPS manufacturing uses only a small amount of energy and produces little pollution. Steam is part of the manufacturing process. Water from this process can be collected and reused. Only 0.1% of fuel consumption is used to make EPS.

Made from recycled materials - Fragmented EPS material produced during the manufacturing process can be crushed and re-added to the new EPS product. EPS can be easily recycled and converted into new expanded polystyrene products (EPS) or hot processed into resins to make other products such as garden storage.

Reduced supply chain waste. EPS can better buffer and protect the product from multiple repeated impacts during transportation than traditional packaging (crepe, wood, etc.) materials.
