Plastic Bottle Structure Packing - Lubricating Oil Packing (2)

10.2 Explaining Operation Process

Because the packaging uses stencil printing, film separation is needed to make the film. To ensure the printing accuracy and printing effect, designing the layout in the CorelDRAW 12 software is in compliance with the requirements for plate printing.

10.2.1 Setting the Standard Size of Packaging

(1) Start CorelDRAW 12 Software

(2) The new file is "Graph 1". Set the paper width to 210mm and the height to 297mm in the property bar.

The actual printing size of this package is an irregular shape formed by the combination of two rectangular shapes. Except for the opening of the bottle, the top of the bottle is 210 mm long and 135 mm long. See Figure 10-5 for details.

10.2.2 Plane development for making a package

(1) Click the Rectangle tool in the toolbox to draw a rectangle with a height of 210mm and a length of 48mm, as shown in Figure 10-6.

(2) Then continue to use the [Rectangle Tool] to draw a rectangle with a height of 145mm and a length of 77mm, as shown in Figure 10-7.

(3) Press the shortcut key Ctrl+Q to turn the two rectangles into curves. Click the Shape Tool in the toolbox and select the node to adjust the shape, as shown in Figure 10-8.

(4) Click the [Select tool] in the toolbox to select the above two objects and weld the two objects, as shown in Figure 10-9 and Figure 10-10.
